I'm Manuela Sîrbu and I'm ready to meet you!

With a legal career spanning over two decades, I am a lawyer at the Bucharest Bar, holding the title of Doctor of Law, as well as Doctor of Medical Sciences.

My experience and professional dedication led me to become an insolvency practitioner and a member of UNPIR (National Union of Insolvency Practitioners in Romania) since 2009. Beyond this, the skills and knowledge I've accumulated recommended me as an arbitrator within the International Commercial Arbitration Court affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania. This range of roles has shaped and prepared me to approach each case with utmost seriousness, precision, and professionalism.

In my legal practice, I have developed a broad expertise covering several fields. I provide professional services in medical law, civil law, commercial law, insolvency and arbitration.

I wish to pass on my knowledge and experience. I do this with great enthusiasm, from behind the lectern, teaching law students at the Titu Maiorescu University's Law Faculty , as a university lecturer and holder of tenure in the field of "Alternative Dispute Resolution", as well as within the master's program in medical law.

My dedication to the legal field led me to delve deeper into various specializations. As such, I achieved a doctorate in alternative dispute resolution, equipping me with the skills and knowledge to approach conflicts from a constructive and efficient perspective. Simultaneously, my passion for the medical domain compelled me to pursue an interdisciplinary viewpoint, culminating in a doctorate in medical sciences. This unique blend of expertise enables me to tackle cases with an intricate and integrative understanding, giving me the advantage to see beyond the conventional and deliver innovative solutions to my clients.

I firmly believe that legal work requires continuous refinement, and our world is evolving rapidly. Therefore, I consistently invest in my professional development and the ongoing update of my legal knowledge by attending various courses and development programs, including at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School Online.

I also actively engage in this field by participating as a speaker and moderator at numerous national and international conferences.

Among my recent presentations are:
• The National Palmed Conference "Private medical services in a European context" (Mamaia, June 2023), where I discussed "Malpractice and medical liability: European approaches to detection methods and evaluation criteria"
• The International Law Conference, European Studies, and International Relations, themed "The universal patent of inheritance law: 'Lex successionis' between legislative tradition and contemporary values" (Bucharest, May 2023).
